16 and older headlight

So i got tired of seeing people post on the facebook page of headlights and they only fit the new models. Cause the dust cover. Anyone ever seen if the newer dust cover will match up on the older machines? Cause its only like 14 bucks for both sides.

I would say it's a high chance it will.
Look at the mating peice. Is the part number shared between 16/17?

By the way. I added the LED's to my 2014, 700. It only required reshaping the back side of the housing maybe 1/2 inch in one spot to fit.

Not sure the gill has a different part number and the back covers do to but everything else has the same numbers

Might be something to put on my list to take a look at on the take over.all these machines close together and a measuring tape. Can really bring some things to light.

I actually think the knockoff LED headlights may work without much if any modification.
I installed the Honda lights and loved them.

Yes, I dont think the heatsink is nearly as large.

was just curious. I actually have a sensitivity to light so the stock ones actually do good for me. But its really about the next guy.

I tried the HID bulbs and the LED replacement bulbs. None of them even came close to the quality of usable light output of the 1000 LED's
