Re: 2015 Group Ride

Would really like to keep it east of the Mississippi if we can.
No problem with someone setting up a Central, or West Cost ride.
HondaSxS.com would love to be the sponsor and help put it together.
Just need a "Group Leader" and we can help make it happen.

Re: 2015 Group Ride

Would like to see some other members chime in on this discussion. We want this to be a Community effort. So....
If you are interested in helping make a decision please we need your help and ask you chime in!

Requesting dates and locations.
If needed we can open up a vote!

Date
Must be in the Spring and NOT a Holiday weekend.

Locations
Needs to have Cabins, RV slots, and Camp sites.

I will give my recommendation this weekend.

I'm up for any location ohanacreek, I was just making a suggestion off of what I've seen on rider planet and saw it had trail side cabins available

Yeah I really want to ride the areas around the GrandCanyon but 30hrs of pulling a trailer each way kinda nixes that.

Re: 2015 Group Ride

I'm in. I think we can do door prizes again just like the first trip. I believed everyone enjoyed it, Maybe we can get more dealers involved. I would like to finish riding WindRock with no problems this time.

Re: 2015 Group Ride

Looking on rider planet, there are very few parks over 100 miles of trails east of the Mississippi.
I have a roughly 60 mile /3000acre park near me and you can ride the whole thing in about 8 hours.
8 hrs of driving is about my limit to get somewhere.

The largest I can find within my 8hr driving distance are:

http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trai ... e_3765.htm
600miles / 149,476 acres and has trail accessible cabins

http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trai ... e_b977.htm
24000acres no listing on miles. or cabins

over the 8hr mark but huge
http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trai ... e_1e54.htm
72000, 300 miles cabins

http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trai ... e_1e9c.htm
500+miles , cabins

Here are two large and popular trail systems in Tennessee with over 300 miles of trails each. Windrock has 72,000 acres and Brimstone has 20,000 acres. Each has cabins, campgrounds, RV sites, and other accommodations with direct trail system access.

I've ridden Windrock multiple times and love it.well maintained, plenty of camping/parking area, not too far from hotels for people who prefer it, and several options for everyone to pick the terrain they prefer to ride. (It's only 100 miles from me so there may be a little bias there lol) but seriously it's a great place with way more trails than you could ride in a week.
