Hello All - thinking of moving up to a Talon 4 seater. Anyone trade in a Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe? What can I expect $$? Loaded with accessories and has 3000 miles in good cond.

Most shops don't care about accessories I would strip it and trade it or sale it.

NADA should show you trade in value, and whatever that book says is your best case scenario in my experience. As others have said you’re probably better off selling the accessories separately, although it can’t hurt to ask the dealership if you decide to go that route. I’ve told them I was going to strip off accessories (aftermarket bumpers, etc) and they kicked in enough $ to convince me to leave them on vs taking my time to remove them and sell them myself. Doesn’t work that way every time but it’s worth asking about.

Truthfully this is a good market and trade values are high due to low new inventory, I got $4200 in trade for my 2016 sportsman 570 atv, bought it for around $5500 new, didn’t seem like a bad deal to me, talk to a few dealers.

That said, had I wanted to deal with it probably could of sold it outright for $4500 but might of taken a month or two, wasn’t worth the hassle to me.
