I was checking them out of course. Did you know that Polaris makes more different Ranger models than I have ever seen Honda SXS's in my entire life. LOL. I know, hard to believe.

I am not happy with Popo right now though. They still don't make what I want. That dang Wolverine is beginning to look good again. I doubt the P1000 suspension is going to cut it for fast trail use so I don't figure it is going to work, although that turf mode does give a big advantage on that part.

Anyway, that is just my contribution.

PS: as many of those 144 hp turbos as they are going to sell a large investment in Popo parts might be in order. But I am not a qualified financial consultant so you can't blame me for anything.

PS2: Oh yeah. I saw what you did there. "Polaris Break Down Tonight" LOL. That is pretty clever. LOL.

Wonder why they did not throw a 1000 into the ranger?
Love how they still compare the 900 to a 700. Seems fair. Lol.

With very little improvement to the xp 900 line they will take a huge blow from honda this year, allso with the looming new pure sport yamaha and hondas is comming i'am shure to, polaris sales in every segment will start to drop quickly. Now to get final specs on pk-1 and start making a plan!!!

The will end up putting the 1000 in there eventually, maybe this winter for new years introduction, but I would guess it might be a lower performance version, maybe around 90? hp to also counter the 85 hp Can Am 1000 Commander. I think Honda probably caught them off guard with the p1000 so it will take some time to get it together.

I know it takes time to do all this stuff but If Honda had the p1000 available right now they would sell lots of them to prospective Ranger buyers.

The thing that realy pisses me off is to have to wait until november for the machine that i want, i should have kept my xp a little longer but was offered the right money so it was sold asap.Now if we can start getting all the specs and final pricing and some rider reviews maybe i can hold out!!!

my ranger xp 900 is plenty fast but top speed 55 maybe 60 down hill on pavement. i don't need to go fast, i just need to function in every way . i believe the p1000-5 delux is the machine for me.
