Multi 2017 HUNTING

Been chasing cats the past month. Today was a crazy day. We had 4 or 5 different lions on our place today. One of the females had 3 young kittens with her. We found two kills that were only about 300 yards from each other that were made by different lions. We caught one pretty quick then ran up the road to another property and found a huge Tom with a female.

This cat had a GPS collar on.

You can see the size difference between a 160-170 lb. Tom and a 90 lb. female.

I hunt only private land for cats. I only guide a couple hunters each season for cats now. Yesterday I had a client but most days I hunt just for the fun. I guided full time for lions for over 20 years.

That's cool. I did a cat hunt about 8 years ago in British Columbia. They are a cool animal. Beautiful country you have out there.

Chased cats with others and had cats follow me while packing out elk at night but have never had the opportunity to hunt them myself. Awesome animal.

Was a pretty good year here for me in good old Idaho. I was able to harvest my 25th bull and he was a brute, then turn around and help a friend do the same. All the foot work and research got done on the good old 500.

Only a couple weeks till Colorado Big Game seasons kick off. I've been up in the high country doing some scouting. Try and get up every 2-3 days. We'll be chasing elk, deer, and sheep in a few weeks then Antelope and bear. Don't know anyone this year that has a goat or moose tag.

Looks like a great year for sure.

Never had the opportunity to hunt out on the flat areas of Idaho. Shot a little 2 point that was only 230 yards away but took almost half an hour to get down and up to him.

Man some of you guys are lucky sobs. I’m excited to see a “decent” whitetail buck! Our rifle season is a whopping 10 days long.

Dang, almost forgot this one, was also able to help this 14 year old take the oldest sheep ever recorded in Idaho. 14 years as well. And he is #3 all time in the books.
