So I have literally ridden the wheels off my P1K with 9000 miles it's wheel bearings are wore out. So while I'm at it ball joints & control arm bushings getting replaced too, even though they all seem good for now.

Just as well get after it. Besides brake pads, tires, and oil/ filter changes this is my first maintenance project on this machine other than driver induced bent tie rods.

Curious as to whether you used a bearing greaser on those and the frequency. I started doing it at every brake change since around 2800, and have wondered when I'll need to swap them out (nearing 8,000.)

Never been touched, lots of creek crossings. Was surprised they ran as long as they did.

No, it's been carefully designed by Japanese engineers to keep American owners honest and forthright. When we say, "I drove the wheels off it!", that is entirely truthful with no exaggeration whatsoever.

Otherwise, they'd have put a bunch of zerk fittings on it, so it could be greased easily!

That said 9 out of 10 owners would never grease them or do like they did on their TRX300 and only change oil every 6 years.
