Considering a new SXS after reviewing the blog at Honda Pro Kevin, he is stating that there will be no changes between the 2017 and 2018 Pioneer other than color choices. Is this accurate? Any input appreciates.

There may not be any "official" changes but there will likely be updates and improvements behind the scenes. On any manufactured vehicle the first machine off the line and the last one even in the same model year are very seldom the same. Just an obvious one is the change between the original 2017 air intake and the current production one. I am sure there are bound to be more that we don't know about.

Just watching the prices here and there the difference between a 2016 and 2017 right now is fairly insignificant (the 2016 prices are only a couple hundred dollars less than they were in 2016) so if you can stand to wait until the 2018 models are in wide circulation, I would be tempted to wait.

There are no advertised new features or changes. Honda routinely and quietly makes updates to thier products as they evolve year to year. Usually the ones that address issues are not talked about just rolled into the production line. The only way Joe public can know is to check parts diagrams and compare suspect parts numbers, they only change for a reason.
