It's not the spot I would want if given a choice because it's so close to showers and laundry but it will work, but as I said before the back sports are the best unless you are one of those pull thru guys but where you are currently at is a back in.

There are some but I never paid any attention if all the spots have them.

Here is a Google Earth view showing the camp sports and the cabins down the hill if that will help some of you decide where want to request a spot. Yes it is open and no trees but it well maintained and they enforce the speed limit in the park and for what it's worth the wind doesn't blow much but it can.

Was curious so looked it up. Not use to riding without getting tree scratches. Looks like the surface of the moon, I was expecting a little more nature from Colorado...

it gets real woodsy as you get into the forest areas where you will ride but only until you get above timberline and we all know that tress and timberline don't coexist very well. Don't let the lack of trees make you think it may be warm, you will not get hot.

Look way down in this picture, there are lots of trees, just go down until you get there. Where this is taken it's over 12,000 ft.
