Is that like GMRS? I have bunch of VHF aircraft freq radios but they won't be the same and certainly not UHF. What kind of license do you need for these radios?

Any idea about CB use?

I use both CB and Ham in my ride. The most common Duel band is the TYT 8600. It operates 2 meter and 70 centimeter, therefore you can program in the family radio channels which do not require a license. These frequencies are what you might find on one of the small Motorola hand held walkie talkies. The TYT 8600 is also very water (or maybe moisture) resistant. I can personally testify that that is a plus when riding RRB. Programming the TYT 8600 can be a challenge if you have not had much time do that type of work, but there are guys at the T.O. that can fix you up.
