I could not find anyone that had installed the KFI fwd hitch on a 2022 so I figured I’d be the test case. Out of the box everything seemed ok, a few sharp edges but nothing major. First thing first, do your self a favor and pull the bumper off the buggy. I struggled for 30 minutes before I broke down and pulled the bumper.

The hardware that came with it did not work well for me. The lower bolts have a shoulder that would not fit with the Viper Hause and the existing bolts were too short so I had to source my own.

The upper carriage bolts would not go through the slotted holes in the top of the receiver so I had to take a square file and make the holes big enough to seat flush. You also have to drill two holes in the top/front of the bumper that “mostly” align with the existing holes in the back side of the bumper.

All in all I’d give it 3 stars, mostly because of the hardware. Once mounted it seems solid.

How much weight will that setup carry?
Unsure, couldn’t find anything from kfi stating a weight rating. Don’t expect to ever put much weight up there anyway. No more than 100lbs tops. I stood on it for what it’s worth.

Confirmed Forest edition fit this past weekend. As @sdelam has said, the provided hardware leaves much to be desired. I need to get it back to the house for "tidying" it up, like getting the top bolts to sit flush. I had limited tools to do the install at the cabin, but with our property, the current (half assed) attempt will work well for reducing stick damage to the radiator. I'll take pics this weekend.

Not sure why it looks like that in the pic, they're not that bad.

It's about to come home for maintenance and upgrades after deer season.
