Where is the spark arrestor on the 22 models. My 1 wrench came on today. It doesn't have the removable tip like most.
Ok thanks a bunchDon't think it's serviceable.
I'll look through the service manual in a bit.

@Hondasxs is spot on. To qualify for sale in Komifornia,, according to LA's DA Gascon's rules, it shall be henceforth referred to as a "spark catch and no-bail release". Referring to it as a "spark arrestor", due to the coloration of most offending particles, is demeaning, racist, and just plain wrong.Where is the spark arrestor on the 22 models. Ok... Figured it out.
Honda has digressed back to the year 1999, Just like the headlights.
And just in case you cant find it, they have clearly marked the "muffler" for your convenience.
1.Select a well-ventilated area free of combustible materials and make sure the exhaust pipe is cool.
2.Remove the bolt.
3.Start the engine and rev it up approximately twenty times while momentarily creating exhaust system back pressure by blocking the end of the muffler with a shop towel.
4.Stop the engine and allow the exhaust pipe to cool.
5.Reinstall the bolt securely

That’s all ya gotta do. The modern day crooked muffler is practically maintenance free.I just got the wrench with the 1 beside it today. So if I'm reading this correctly, all I have to do it is remove the bolt, plug up the exhaust and rev the engine a while and then let it cool and return the bolt? I was thinking you'd have to remove something and clean it off. Am I missing something or is this all that has to be done on a 2022?
