I have 22 underseat panels in my 2018. I added a few extra push pins and skipped the 2022 seat belt covers.

Ya built this plate. Just welded the two lower mounts that slide around the factory receiver holes (could use hitch pin or bolt) and welded upper angle iron on that bolts to suspension mounts. Did drill all way through them added a spacer in between. Easy unbolt for full access to anything...

I think they help considerably… but don’t fix 100%. Only machine you don’t ever feel heat is on a Yamaha RMax

I was very happy with the panels on my last trip out. The seat butt heat is nearly gone. The seat back heat was a bit worse but as soon as I flipped my underseat fan on, all heat was gone. Worth every penny to me and it quiets the fan and finishes off the area under the seat.
