Ya built this plate. Just welded the two lower mounts that slide around the factory receiver holes (could use hitch pin or bolt) and welded upper angle iron on that bolts to suspension mounts. Did drill all way through them added a spacer in between. Easy unbolt for full access to anything.
Super easy, and it holds up well, had it for over 5 years on couple machines. Strengthens up everything and keeps winch from dragging into the terrain like many other systems. Rope doesn’t get hot no worries

Making progress on the rear winch mount. The rear winch bolts (towards front) go into the top of the hitch and then the mount ties into the hitch pin. Next step is adding a rear bumper support and fairlead mount

Stuck on the fairlead mount, the old rear bumper mount is close but not quite right

What is the plug under the voltmeter for?
It's the winch remote plug for my rear winch. I wrapped up my installation of my rear Superwinch Terra45 and I upgraded the front to a Traveller 6000 due to a corroded and damaged motor on my second Terra 45 and no parts available. I'm excited about the 6k front winch, similar line speed and power draw to the Superwinch and a wireless remote.

Been watching the 2022 parts thread and my 2022 upgrades have begun

First up 2022 under seat panels
PXL 20220407 210859968

My under seat fan needed to be relocated and the new panels don't have the push pin holes but I added them. I really like the air gap under the seat. I'm hoping a little airflow between the seat cushion and engine compartment will help.

Old fan location and right panel installed. Right panel dropped right in.
PXL 20220408 194225154

New fan location and left panel installed. I kept the seat belt rubber added with the Honda product improvement campaign

PXL 20220408 204228855

Center panel installed and push pin holes added. A sharp unibit works well for finding the holes in the seat frame, feel around for the soft spot and the unibit will guide to center as it drills

PXL 20220408 204605996

My RB3 quick ratio rack will be here Monday and I have the new 3 piece 2022 tie rods on order which look a lot beefier than the junk on the 2016-2021. Honda also update the parts fiche to eliminate the old part number and they are confirmed backwards compatible.

I'll have my Dynojet PV3 wide band o2 kit early next week as well.

Do you think it’s going to block the heat any better now that you’ve handled and installed it? I’m curious.

My expectation is that the large air gap will slow the heat transfer to the seat and allow some air flow between the panels and seat. The previous rubber flaps didn't seal well and didn't fit well so this can't be worse. Likely adding adhesive backed foam and foil will improve this new set up but I'm going to run it as is for a bit. With a tune and underseat da, it's not that bad. But for less than $100 at least this isn't a giant bandaid piece of junk

Those voids would hold a decent amount of foam insulation if one was so inclined... could probably help block the heat even more.

I'm looking forward to your test results... I'm inclined to copy if it works well.

I’ll be waiting for your over time review but it looks to be better than the rubber for sure.

That's cool, first thing I thought of when I seen these panels was "possible storage area"
Are they flimsy or would they "hold" some stuff?

They are rigid. The space is only 1-2" thick. I never considered it storage unless you're planning to catch mud and minnows
Might be able to keep some food warm for ya....😂😂

I figured maybe small zipped bags of miscellaneous hardware or whatever......?? I always have all my seats occupied so I try to store crap in every nook and cranny of then damn thing 😂
