Hello there. We have a 21 talon that feels like you are "dumping the clutch" when you go to take off in high gear. Tried new clutches, still no change on feel. Feels like the converter is maybe locked on take off. No codes are popping up, relearn clutch procedure has been tried a few times. Checked wiring, a little stumped at this point.
When you go to take off, unit revs a few hundred rpms before engagement, its harsh enough hit that if you don't throttle more, it will stall out and die

Well there's some idiot on here that is advancing the theory that it might just be playing dead, but I wouldn't believe anything he says. I don't have a clue but I'll say hang around long enough and someone will have your answer.
Welcome to the club from East Tennessee.

Have you tried a clutch re-learn?

Have you installed an aftermarket tune or messed with the DCT tuning? If so, go back to stock and see if that makes any difference.

Clutches are heavily dependent on oil pressure. What is the oil pressure?...

can't remember off top of my head, but was within spec on oil. Old clutches were slipping, no sliggage with new.

tried clutch relearn today again, it didn't seem to want to complete relearn, had errors pop up on trip back, now need to get back to a code reader

And the original clutches did the same thing or they only slipped?

Did you replace all the seals, o-rings and seal rings on the clutch shafts and clutch housings?

Did you verify the clutch clearance?
