I like the setup. Is that a wider stance than the stock wheels? I'm not familiar with the stock wheel spacing
Yeah, about 3" wider total.

I have the Bison bumpers as well.View attachment 37819 View attachment 37821
Bison bumper front and rear. Both protect well. Front bumper limits you to winch in lower position. I would never be without the rear one. Every 500 needs the rear one and it's that good for 209. I think the rears could use a 1 inch spacer on the rims. Hope this helps
Looks great! Am looking at 14 in. ITP wheels, but using 205/70/14 car tires. Ends up same diameter as 25-12's. Any clearance issues with the wheels?27s on 14 in 5-2 offset rims, no spacers, no problems. Rides much better.

I'm new to the forum, and have enjoyed "wasting" most of my day learning what I can. I hope to have a 2016 p5 in the next couple of weeks. Test drove it on the lot and really liked it. I hope you all can steer me right in my wheel/tire set-up. I'll be doing a fair amount of brisk tight trail riding with my son, along with hauling a log splitter and light loads of wood. I need to stay close to 50" for the riding park. My understanding is that the 14's are better than 12's for sporty trail riding because of less side wall. I really like the black diamonds and bear claw htr's. If I go 26" with STI HD7 14x7 (5+2) alloys at all 4 corners, with 26x9-14 front and 26X11-14 rear tires, does that fit my above parameters? Thanks in advance.

Actually several in Indiana. Tom Wood Powersports in Indy, Dreyer Honda in Whiteland, Bloomington Powersports all have one. I know this thread is about tires, but I'm struggling on whether to get a '16 or '17. Best price "out the door" on a '16 has been $8763, and '17 $9407. The automatic would be nice at times, but not that big of a deal to me. I haven't read about how much better the suspension has actually gotten on the '17's. Unfortunately, I'm stretching my budget for the '16, so the extra $ for the '17 is tough to rationalize at the moment. Also, Peoria IL and Bloomington IL each have a '16. I drive for a living, so don't mind a good road trip.where did you see a 2016 P500 at? they are hard to find
I'm struggling too. I called Dreyer on a 16 but they were crazy wanting to charge me 8299 plus 699 freight/delivery and 149 doc.....I told them yeah right....for 400 bucks, I can get a 17 with fully adjustable shocks, auto mode.....I just want the blue plastic......
Interestingly enough, I had the same experience with them about a week ago. But my buddy bought a pair of grizzlies at their next door Yamaha store just yesterday, and told me I should have them match my best price. I spoke to Ben, at Dreyer, today. He said he'd go $8750 OTD on a '16, and $9400 on a '17. I think their '16 is red though. I've decided to go the '17 route, assuming I don't chicken out entirely with a son in college..... If it matters, I think Peoria has a blue one, and the same tactic would probably work. They really are moving fast. Bloomington (IN, not IL) sold their '16, and I noticed Tom Wood no longer has their's on their internet page.I'm struggling too. Just for the record, all of my OTD prices include sales tax, as i don't get the farm exemtion.I've never heard of them. Some guy said he bought a leftover blue 2016 for 6499 from honda of marysville but I've not seen anything that good. lowest I have found is 8530 OTD with my tax on a 2016. i need to be under 8000 otherwise I might have to consider going to the darkside!!
