27" tires tight fit?!

Let's get back on track of 27" tires....
I'd like to see more setups with 27x9r12 on all 4 with radials.

I have 2018 P500 stock rims 9x12,27 front 11x12, 27 rear still fits thru 50" gates better ride. No rub no real power loss either. Tires are GREEN BALL DIRT COMANDERS. My nephew has a p5 2015 with mega mayham 28 14" rims little rub but very rough riding. I can do anything he can but i am not much for really deep mud.

That sounds good. I am having trouble getting mine seated on the rims. I’ll post pictures when I get them on.

@Timmy are you removing the valve core while trying to inflate to seat the rims? It makes a HUGE restriction for air flow while trying to seat a bead.

Yes, I removed the valve core. Tires were banded together and smashed.

They are @ 28” inflated to 6-7psi.

FYI in your pic of the red 500 the tire tread is backwards. Swap your tires from left to right side. The tread swoops forward for more bite.

Cool deal, I didn’t want to sound like a jerk but you’d get a ton more performance out of the tires.

I have a fifth tire also for a spare on a Yamaha Rhino rim.

28"? Are yours 9" wide too? No rub at full turn and suspension compression? Offset wheels or spacers? I thought I read some 28's rubbed on the P1k and you'd have to do the frame mod on the P5.

27x9x12 front
27x12x12 rear
5-2 offset beadlocks

They do rub at full lock and compression, I have not done frame mod yet.

Fronts measure out to 27.2ish inches



Rear measure out to 28.5”



So if you have the interco Super swamper tsl see the measurements above.

bighorns are expensive and heavy, terrible in real mud and snow too. there is a guy that had them in my group he had to backup and try again in 4wd, the can am i had just the stock crap during the summer 2wd one try on easy mud. we dont leave them, good snow tires like mud light, swamp lites something like that to ride snow
