Is anyone running 28" tires on a pioneer 4 with no lift?

I believe it should work on the stock rims even, thats how I intend to go to get an 1 1/2" ground clearance and a little more speed. My question, could the shift paterns or relimiter be reprogrammed? May be a dumb question for those that are in tune!

28" Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 on 14" ITPSS212 wheels work fine and will give ya addional 1 1/2" ground clearance.
