One other question. How does running taller tires affect braking?

I run DOT mud type tires. No huge cleats.
That’s what I’ve run for the last year. I have SATV forward arched arms no lift but Fox shocks with modified springs for better preload that kinda make up for a lift in its own way. I would go with at least 1” spacers with any larger tires especially true 30’s like these. I have 1” in the front and 1-1/2” I the back.

I can’t answer that cuz I don’t remember off hand:confused: I’d have to take it out and get back. But I know it’s not much different than the 28’s I had before IMO

If you get a chance, take note next time you go for a spin.

Can you please explain the theory behind the wheel spacers. I’m ordering 30”
Tires and possibly new rims but not sure if I need spacers or not or what the reasoning is for everyone putting spacers in
Thanks

They help u get more stability and above all, give u more steering clearance so you don’t rub the inner fenders. This can also be fixed by having forward A-arms but now your talking a bit more money and suspension rework. I’d did both to mine, but when I had stock A-arms I did spacers. The spacers are relatively inexpensive but are well worth having. @RB3offroad is one of our venders. I’ve had there spacers going on 4 years and there great quality. They can “steer” no pun intended...you in the right direction on what set to buy. They also have sales and discounts.
Not great pics, but this top one is without 28’s the bottom is with spacers and my 30’s
