P500 520 dog box for bed

We got a trip soon so me and the wife made up a dog box for the old man so he don't jump out. Used some 3/4 inch conduit to keep the weight down and the wife made a nice carhart fabric top with mesh sides from johanns. I didn't want it to permanent so I bolted it down to the hooks in the bed.

It’s good that you have something in the bed to mount to also in the 520. I’m going to make something to attach to my tool box so it doesn’t slide around all the time.

Honda sells a plate that bolts down in the corner of the bed for lile 100 bucks. I wish there was more of a DIY latch for the top of the bed holes. I would have liked to build it from there.

We use an old kitchen floor mat we stood on in front of the sink. It’s soft for the dog to sit on.
