I thought that was a given.
I am also interested in this thread. The last 2 times I've had my Pioneer out, I've gotten hung up. The first time I was caught on some frozen ruts. All 4 wheels were just spinning. I was able to rock it side to side, while my buddy ran the gas pedal. The second time, I went over a "frozen" mud puddle. Broke through the ice and was stuck. Right side wheels were in the air, left side buried in mud, and digging deeper. Ice was a few inches thick. We tried jamming stuff under the tires, to no avail. Pulled many large pieces of ice out. Finally, was able to back up and get a little traction.
Is anyone using a come-a-long? If so, what size(weight). I really don't want to buy a winch, and Harbor Freight has them for around $20.
