Something to consider. I went through the same thing and got the roctanes like mentioned many times above. They just beat the vehicle and passengers. My suspension and steering bushings wore quickly.

Part to consider: Now I’m running a softer, lighter and cheaper tire and carry a tube, plugs, CO2 kit and 12v compressor. My spare tire stays in the truck. Got to have bead locks to make easy trail side repair use of the tube though.
Thanks for the perspective---good to know before making the decision.

I tend to ride on rough terrain so that doesn’t help. If you’re on typical forest roads and not beating the machine you’ll be better off than me.

I'm going to go with the BFG Mud-Terrain T/A KM3. Really look to be what I'm looking for and the reviews on the truck tire are awesome. I'm hoping the UTV specific tire works as well, but can't find any reviews. My dealer seems to have smokin' deals. Going with 30s

What is a smokin' deal?

I saw 28x10-14's for around $170 on Cyber Monday. I don't recall where.

Rep from BFG just told me the 30" tires are true 30" unmounted. Took about 10 mins of searching to find the info.

If you like the bighorn tread pattern but want an 8 ply tire, tusk makes an 8 ply trilobite that is a bighorn knock off. I ordered a set of 29x11's to pair with a set of bighorns I had laying around out front (thanks to @TimG for helping convince me to take the plunge).

Ran 150ish miles down at Hatfield McCoy last weekend through Rockhouse, Devil Anse, Buffalo Mountain and Bear Wallow and only put it in 4wd a couple of times. It was superrrr wet too. Really just needed it on ultra loose rocky hills.

I can't speak to the durability, but some good reviews on their website. Also can't state enough how much I love the subtle difference going with a 29 inch version offered. Measure just over 28 inches @14 psi and really fill the fender nice with no rubbing.

No rubbing, and you are running standard suspension/lift?

No rubbing, full lock both ways.

Stock machine otherwise. Mirrors and underdash storage are the only add on.

ITP Mudlite or Mudlite2 is a great tire. Often overlooked the Mudlite series is a great all around smooth riding tire that has the ability to handle serious mud. It is a bias ply tire rated at 6 ply. Most people mistakenly prefer radials for SxS use. Bias ply tires have much stronger carcass as compared to radial. A 8 ply radial has two plys on each sidewall and a four ply tread. A six ply bias tire is six ply bead to bead. 6 ply on each sidewall and a six ply tread. If a bias ply tire was rated using the same formula as radials, the bias ply would be rated at 18 ply.
