P500 A arm brace

Where can I buy a brace that will keep my front A arm tabs from ripping off of the frame? Thanks.

Haven't seen any for a 500..
I tried to make some myself for the P1k but failed. lol.
Later I saw someone made some, but they too had some fitment issues like I did.
Recommend finding a good welding shop.
Shouldn't take about an hour for them to weld in a gusset brace.
I'll post mine in a sec.

RED is the 1st Color All other Colors followed hopping to catch some of the Glory Honda hopes they sell

Haven't had the need for a BRACE - will keep watching how this is resolved - Before the NEED develops.

Anyone have a picture of damaged area. ( Clarifying Damage ).
Make a BRACE & install Before Damage happens & Weakens the area - another Preventative Maint. item for the list - ( with Tracks on in winter couldn't hurt )

Ridin Dirty stopped making them for the P5. Stopped making everything for the P5 in fact. I wanted their A arms and that brace a couple yrs ago but ended up having to go with OutKast arms. They don't make the brace either or I'd have it.

View attachment 274813Besides the one that ripped the frame, the other three are soon to fail. I can see hairline cracks in the welds. Also there was rust inside the there. I believe it would be a good idea to remove the plastic plugs that are in the front of the frame tube to allow the inside to dry.

Without looking in the shop at it could a guy take the bolts out and thread some machine bar on each end and run it all the way threw both mounts and install a center sleeve between the two. Maybe even weld the center sleeve to the frame with a flat bar?

This will help to know the strength needed to make & prevent future event of this nature.

To me, it is poorly designed. I can see it happening on all of them. Just give it time.

Please tell the ( Rest of the Story ) takes some serious Leverage & Pressure to Rip Even THIN steel.

Expanding on bomersteve35 sleeve idea.

Without looking in the shop at it could a guy take the bolts out and thread some machine bar on each end and run it all the way threw both mounts and install a center sleeve between the two. Maybe even weld the center sleeve to the frame with a flat bar?

Not that difficult to add additional support in that area.
Using sleeves with welded washers on the ends ( extra washers for snug fit )
Weld a side to side Cross Brace between sleeves.
Another side to side Cross BRACE on TOP of frame.
Bolt the two braces as close to the INSIDE of main frame as possible & a bolt down through the center of both braces.

Could be done as a bolt on kit ( if Honda holds close tolerances on A -Frame mounts )
If Not the cross brace welded to sleeves could be 2 piece overlap 1/4in × 2in flat stock after in place drill & bolt together then drill center bolt.
REMBER the Damage in future will go to the Next Weakest Point -- ???

That looks like the machine was "jumped" repeatedly? I can't imagine that kind of deformation happened with regular use.
