Hey All,
Seen a lot of great posts about custom snorkel setups. The one I made is super simple and requires very little PVC. It just extends the stock intake all the way to the roll cage and the follows the roll cage line.
All you need (excluding whatever tip you choose to put on the riser):
3 x sweep 90s (2in)
1 x 2ft of PVC (2in)
1 x fernco (1.5in to 2in)
I cut the stock intake tube after the elbow and added a fernco.
I mocked it up so that the pvc tube extended all the way to the outer roll cage. You need about ~6in (don't remember exactly) of pvc tube, followed by 3 sweep 90 elbows, then finally the riser. That's it. You can choose whatever tip setup suits your preference.
You can see the pvc exits between the rear rack ad the roll cage. I painted and vinyl wrapped it before installing. I used 2 zip ties to hold the sweep 90 combination in place to the roll cage.
To secure the top of the riser, i used a 1.25" clamp mount and zip tied the riser to the mount. You can easily just zip tie the riser to the roll cage, but I liked the angle this gave me.
Follows the roll cage up.
Final setup
