This is what I used , it's a pretty good match to the Honda yellow !

I wish I had never done it now , the wife (5'2") and I went for a ride tonight and she was not happy . She says to me " how the hell can I drive this thing now , I can't see through the winshield"..........I got a ass chewing...........lmao

I do like the look of it though !!!

Chooglin they do have colored tint on eBay wide enough for the windshield. She might be ok with that. I'm with others I really like the half shield like that

You could sand it off with various grits. 600grt can be cleared over and be back to stock looking or place decal over that and you'd be ok

The factory black coating will most likely be effected! I sprayed insect repellent and overspray ruined the finish of my deflector. But you may get lucky!

Eltobgi is right about the black part around the edges that won't come back but if you wanted you could mask and spray that back

You know, you got me thinking. I have a couple of windshields for my FJR and the one that I cut down for summer riding I painted the back side with this paint that I got at the automotive store that is used for tail lights. It darkened it some but you can still see through it. I may try that when my lower gets scratched up.... Good stuff guys.

I'll tell you what an ass chewing is...its when you go shooting clays and you forget the wife's shotgun. You may say no be deal but she really likes shooting and her gun is custom fit for her and what really pissed her off is when I said why don't you load up your own stuff because I'm not your mother. PS, I will never forget her gun again.

I also found some transparent paint , but it's for glass only...........trying to find it for plastic.
