STI X-Comp 10X30X14

I emailed STI enquiring about the side wall and tread ply construction of the X Comp and X2...the reply "The entire X Comp or X2 tire is 10 ply rated". That's one tough tire.

Boy howdy! I have set of ITP Black Waters, I bet there the same way. They can have 0 psi and they still stand up????

i actually emailed ITP also about the Blackwater and it is "8ply construction" side walls included as is STI's XD.

They are 29" mounted with 12 lbs. I only have forward/rearward off set arms

Saying "stock height" what are you implying? Is the machine fully stock?

I dont believe 29 will work on an all stock machine. I think the consensus is that 28" is the max.

28 is the measurement. Mine measure exactly 28" tall sitting on the machine. When turning and compressing suspension. They may rub just barely.

I'm not saying a "29" tire wont fit but if it measures over 28" you're going to have issues on a stock machine.

Haven't gotten to ride. I had them on before Christmas, but with the holidays, work, and now we are having a huge remodel done, I'm busy every minute I'm not at work. Really might not get any time out until March. I'll post up a review once I get a real ride in. They are for sure much more smooth on the road. I just took them up the pavement in our development, just to see. This was before I put the 1" spacers on the back, too.
