Got the Night Crawler, Temper and the SCX24 all up and running at the same time. I would have to say the best bang for the buck is the Temper at $ 150.00, it's a 1/18 scale and can do almost everything the Night Crawler can do with a lot more effort, but it can be done! The SCX1/24 is just a, I dare you at this time, more parts coming, it will never be a Night Crawler! HA!

I’ve got one corner done. And now am in the middle of learning a valuable lesson about stainless steel screws and why I should have had them when using locktite. Stripped a head off a traxxas screw in my Hot Racing rear upper shock mount. Should take about as long to fix that as the whole rest of the job... 🤬

Still finding upgrades for it or are they just still showing up?
It’s about the way I want it and most of the parts were functional to replace weak links. It’s as much fun to work on as it is to drive. My new servo stripped the steering horn out so I have one on order.
Taking it to the dunes in April so I needed whips and beadlocks.

Here’s a rear vs the old one. Definitely stouter. 60 weight in the rear 45 up front. Pretty much just having a cocktail now and hanging with the club for a few before I pull it apart to fix the broken screw.
