Are the little revos tough? Thinking about that or just saying f*** it and getting a Maxx for the kid with the throttle set at 10-15%.

They are tough and fast all the upgrades I did weren't necessary. My first one i put sand paddles and was running it into a half buried concrete parking spot marker launching it off it I did that for a full pack and didn't break anything the chassis was slapping it every jump. The sand paddles I was using would throw sand over my head on 3s. The only time I really broke anything I hit a concrete marker with the front left wheel WOT. I was on a r/c oval the marker was the entrance to a onroad track. I have had 2 I dont recall really breaking anything outside of burning my slipper that was the first slipper in 5 years.

I think the Summit tires are just too heavy for it Traxxas put out a 1/16 Summit VXL for one year it was hard on parts they now only offer it brushed again.

If I did it over I would only do the center diff and heatsink on the motor on the mini-Revo. I would replace things as they wore out or broke I went and replaced everything needlessly.

Those mini-z's are sharp and I was looking at parts for them on A-Main you can dump quite a bit of money into them. The mini-z crawler is nice i was looking at getting a drifting mini-z.

Im looking at replacing that pro-line light bar with one from Vanguish by Rigid they offer them in 1-6in wide. I was surprised to see you can get vision x, kc lites, rigid light bars and pods for r/c vehicles.

Gorgeous planes the largest my dad had a was a 90cc Extra 300 he only used JR radios his first digital was the XP8103 before the digital it was the Century 7 he still has and works. I grew up watching Patty Wagstaff fly her Extra300S. Later in life my dad and I ended up working together in St. Augustine for Northrop Grumman and one Friday afternoon we hear a plane buzzing our hanger it's Patty practicing for the airshow.

Any of you boys have any desire for an Axial SCX10? I've got two I want to part with to make room for one of these:
