Photos and videos don't do this thing justice its ridiculously large
That looks familiar....
Used to go hang out with this RC flying club, a guy shows up with a 12 foot wing span, 125cc motor plane, he flies it around does the tail walking stuff and lands it, I just look at him and ask, you ever think about throwing a saddle on it and going somewhere? His wheels were turning!Photos and videos don't do this thing justice its ridiculously large

Leave it stock and enjoy it. All these people modding them just break more stuff. I've got probably 20 packs through mine now if not more. It's the best out of the box R/C I've ever owned (minus the included radio gear, but I never run the stock Tx/Rx in anything).
Buy the RPM rear hub carriers that come with the larger inner bearings. Buy some spare inner bearings for the front hubs (I always run Avid). In 20 packs I've replaced one inner front hub bearing.
Don't be scared, give it the beans!!My Traxxas Maxx is the first r/c I’ve had since I had was a kid. This thing is FAST! I’ve been running it in the half speed.
No, I'm still at stock gearing. I haven't done anything to the truck other than RPM rear hubs and adding my Futaba running gear. Set the endpoints and the stock servo holds up fine. I bought a waterproof Savox and the Traxxas mount to add it but haven't needed it.This is the first r/c i planned on keeping mostly stock outside of necessary upgrades like the rear hubs, bearings and what not. But I must say the belt drives intrigued me, did you install the high speed gear?
Nitro boats....cool! I've never tried the nitro stuff. They sound cool and always grab my attention when I hear/see them running though. Maybe one of these days I will give it a shot.Love rc boats. The Rustler is a speed car

I did get rid of all the Traxxas plugs. I can't stand that proprietary s***. I put XT90's on everything (3 sets of batteries and esc).
I'd rip that light bar off after the first tumble lol!The wheels are big as my hand. I got to finally run it yesterday wheelies on command I haven't changed the gearing.

They work really well too, but you need a piece of foam on top of them because there is a small gap with the stock battery clip locked in.
