Yes it's under the weather and in my truck, as I type, it's going to the Hobby shop in the morning for an exam? I think the motor is fried.

It’s big, pretty fast and requires more expensive batteries but you could break it within the first five minutes. I have faith in you! 😂🤣😂

You might be right. I was thinking it was 1/8 but I’ve not touched one just watched some videos. They look durable and fun.

Don't know if I want another RTR, the Gatekeeper works so well even with crap tires that I built. It has a different feel to it crawling. I took it out last night and had a blast.

SCX24 motor came a bit a go. Well this didn't fix it, I have forward, no reverse. I think the transmitter is bad, taking the whole thing back tomorrow and getting whole new rig.

Gatekeeper update, finally called Horizon today, they don't have the missing screws that I need, they forwarded me to Element, gave them the list, waiting on a reply, I gave them part #'s and sizes, we'll see?

The ESC could still be bad as well. My Mini-B has forward and quickly loses reverse after being on for a few seconds. Hopefully they can get you fixed up regardless.

They sent me a new ESC and I bought a new motor, the motor has forward and steering, no reverse. This is without the new motor installed just plugged in, I thinking bad new servo?

Servo & ESC control steering without the motor at all. You can have steering and have no forward or reverse.

Got the SCX24 Jeep going, switched out ESC, motor, transmission and transmitter. The guy that I bought my RC's from told me to come get a brand new SCX24 Deadbolt and change the bodies, so I picked up one today and proceeded into a 5 minute deal, wrong! The drive shafts, trailing arms are different lengths from the Deadbolt to the Jeep, body mount are completely different, so no simple body swap. Pulled both transmissions, removed drive shafts and swiped, swapped ESC's. Now Im up and running!

What do you pro's think about the Tekno builders kit, looking at the MT 1/10 410, they call it a Monster truck, looks like more of a rock basher? My Hobby shop has a RYFT builders kit as well!
