ordered my 1000 late august have been pushed back 3 times now I'm being told on the 15th of December!!!!
Yeah, I was first in line at my dealer for one. The red came in and I passed thinking it would be snatched up by someone else every quickly. It sat for over a week before someone finally decided to buy. They got a Yamaha YXZ 1000 which has been sitting for over a month with no takers. Guess the lack of deserts and dunes around here hurts sales for a machine like that.
Checked with my salesman yesterday, he confirmed again that the latest notification for Honda is that all November shipments will be fulfilled by December 30. He may be right that at some point the Camo's will begin to trickle into dealerships before Dec. 30. It's not like they'll all show up at every dealership by the 30th. Trying to stay optimistic on this, just hope that Honda doesn't push it back again. I've got a pile of parts awaiting the SxS, KFI winch mount showing up in a few days.
I'm in the same boat big river. Had a deposit since August on came deluxe and know have wet sounds and winch just sitting here. Maybe they will come in the 2 weeks.

Since Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris price these UTV like a car does anyone complain? I mean even the buying guides tell you to treat the purchase like a vehicle.
One of the dealers in my area has so many of these(1000)!!! I think its their god awful pricing and fees that keep them in stock.

I don't know if that helps anyone but the day 1000-5 seater deluxe at Freedom cycle in Concord New Hampshire not sold
I should have included their fees. MSRP+delivery+setup+documentation=$18,499 for a red 1000-5. Then you have taxes....it actually kept me from purchasing even though they had 3 seaters, 5 seaters, deluxe models. The kicker was they wouldn't deal even though they had at least 5 on the showroom floor. They continue to gather dust there even today.

C & C Sports in Brighton MI. I was told several weeks ago that I would have my grey before Thanksgiving. So much for that.
Its things like this that i expect to be compensated for especially when i am being charged car prices. I dont ask for much but Honda needs to step up.
I don't see the dealership's cutting many breaks out there, they still look at it like a supply and demand situation. Maybe this time next year when there could be a glut of machines sitting around in the showrooms, but right now, they have us by the "short hairs".
Went in to my dealer again today, and was told that my grey (silver) will be shipped by the end of the week and should be delivered by next mid week. At this point I'm not holding my breath. They have a red deluxe and 2 3P's sitting in their garage now with no takers. They still have that YXZ 1000 on their showroom floor without a buyer either. My salesman said it's just too late in the season here and all their customers lately are snowmobile buyers.
