P1000 Another Push Back...

Went in to my dealer again today, and was told that my grey (silver) will be shipped by the end of the week and should be delivered by next mid week. At this point I'm not holding my breath. They have a red deluxe and 2 3P's sitting in their garage now with no takers. They still have that YXZ 1000 on their showroom floor without a buyer either. My salesman said it's just too late in the season here and all their customers lately are snowmobile buyers.

And thats when they will wheel and deal....
I did the same thing when i bought my Mustang convertible. The dealership was falling all over themselves to sell me a convertible one week before Christmas in Imlay, MI.

Yeldarb, My dealer called me today as I have a white deluxe ordered for April/May. He said they have another Red one in stock right now and that I can order white panels now to change it over for $500.00 on top of the MSRP. I was a bit taken back.

Just got off the phone with Southern Honda Powersports and he informed me they had plenty of the Red P-5 Deluxe and had them priced at 16,500.00 plus tax if applicable....No fee's and they were expecting more shortly, and had roughly 30 in stock.

Oh well,, stopped by my dealers this afternoon, figuring I might be able to get s/n and stuff to get it registered, as it was due to be shipped next Tuesday. No such luck, pushed off for a month! It don't make a heck of a lot of sense, Honda should be wanting to get these things sold! Somebody upstairs in the distribution dept. ain't quite sure if his ass is punched or bored.
