Super simple. It could be done in 3 inch if a guy wanted. Got the idea from snorkel your ATV.

Took about thirty pain free minutes. Just best guess at cutting holes, can't screw it up. 6 ish fender rivets to pull the fenders off. All that's left is to pick up the rubber coupler from the store.

I didn't like the other ones that just end in your dash as I cross deep water, and I didn't like the ones that stick out the hood because it's right in front of your nose and in your field of vision. I also don't like the ones sucking air from the cab because theoretically it makes a negative pressure and would suck dust and your hot air out, but honestly it's just loud and annoying.

Very happy, I'll update if there's a performance loss, which I doubt there will be.

Looks good, that will definitely keep it out of line of site. How's it sound?

With it placed outboard now, it may catch some tree limbs. Did you use a rubber coupler anywhere to absorb impact and vibrations?

Rubber coupler is just gonna bridge the stock intake sleeve to the snorkel.

Gonna chance it for a while and see how the trees mind it. It's the look I want. Gonna order the snorkel your ATV riser cause it looks bad to the bone.

Im also trying to come up with a way to do the branch riser mod to take care of the problem. I don't have a aftermarket bumper so I'm having a tough time.

Yeah, the limb risers help. If you find a forward attachment point, I suggest using cord versus cable. The cable can tear something up quick if it gets caught. At least the string will break. I've had the same strings for about a year now and have broken one yet.

Okay. Yeah that makes sense. I'd rather not tear my roof, though the things I have put it through I'm not sure I could hurt it if I shot it and caught it on fire
