I was doing the oil change in my 500 and noticed my antifreeze in the reserve tank was on the min level. I went to Honda deal to get the Pro Honda HP coolant the owner manual recommends, but they didn't have any, so they gave me a thing of Kawasaki AlumaCook Engine coolant. It's a different color than the stuff that is currently in the 500 so I checking here to see if it's safe.

Thanks,

I'm with @Gator, I don't mix them either, chances are that it would be fine, you never know

Right or Wrong I went into the local parts store ask for blue Honda approved antifreeze and called it good.

Thanks for all your input. I was worried about it enough I was thinking getting the correct stuff anyways. Didn't even think about warranty issues until here.

I use blue ice in all my machines. My CRF450 gets hot on regular but the blue ice doesn't come out The over flow as bad. Good Stuff
