What are you guys experiencing for ball joint wear? About how many miles have you gotten on them before they start to get a little sloppy?

Do the uppers typically wear faster than the lowers, or any difference that you know of?

I've got these automotive tie-rod end style ball joints on the Texas Tough Customs arms. I'm starting to doubt that they're up to the task, as I just had to replace a wobbly upper after 1900 miles. It's been making noise for a few hundred miles.

I did not think it could be a ball joint that early. I mean, am I looking at doing ball joints almost as frequently as an oil change? How does this stack up to OEM ball joints?

I've got 10,000 miles 16,500 klms on mine , still oems. I do add grease to mine twice a year by using a small grease gun needle. Just pry the rubber down a bit so I can insert the needle and add grease.

2000 miles on stock ball joints in super atv arms. Superatv a-arm bushings lasted about 1000. Garage products bushings now have 1000 and they are in pretty good shape but a little more play than when installed.

i’ve got 3600 miles on mine and they‘re still tight. Then again, I’m usually following a bunch of Poo Poo’s on our rides.
