I didn't think about unhooking it and then putting it back backwards. I took it like it just started doing it. Either way buy a new battery. He should check back in with better details unless it blew up and he is seeking medical help.

Probably not if he doesn't participate in his own thread. Unless his his battery blew up and messed him up pretty good. But he could post some hospital pics at least.

Battery update, replaced battery checked all connections ran good for two weeks and now the same problem but now The dash flashes and solenoid clicks when trying to start battery has 12.4 V and very hot

What alarm sounds? What’s flashing on the dash? Do you have access to a voltage tester? Without more information, we would be guessing. I’d go after the starter next. If battery is getting hot then possibly pulling too many amps during starting.

Where the voltage regulator? that's is easy to recall
Its right where you installed it if it has one at all

Does the positive cable get hot? If so, because it is grounded out on something most likely.
