P1000m5 Been getting it out

Today's "play date" w/ a good friend of mine, his wife and my awesome fiance.
We are east of Hells Gate. The picture does not even come close to accurately representing the section of trail we had just come down.

He took the easy route.. I took the rocks.. very happy so far with the tires and wheels.

Sunday found us out by ourselves for a change chasing a trail I'm trying to find off my memory ... from 5 years ago 😂😂..

It was supposed to be an easy trail... one new tire didn't like the rocks.. used my last 2 plugs.

Ummm... no.. 1 wounded tire already, just one machine... I'll be back.. better prepared..

Got turned around and found some shade for a break.

Got talking with my buddy we went out with the day prior and is local to this area and was explaining to him "I don't remember that trail being that much of a PIA.." He starts laughing.. "you took the wrong turn off Houston Mesa and ended up on arguably the toughest trail on the Rim".. 😒 ..

Got back home late Sunday night. Excellent 2 days of riding and spending time with my fiance.
Tuesday I bought another new tire 😁.. spent Wed and Thur evening giving it a proper bath.. put it on CL late Thur night.. new owner picked it up Fri night 😲..

To explain:
We're not getting out of the SxS game and we are keeping the little RZR. Between her daughters upcoming back surgery, the current "anything w/ knobbies" market... we have some time... to find a Talon 😎.. let the chase begin 🤑..

Welll.. one thing lead to another..

Between told repeatedly "available soon", "taking deposits", "we don't have any allocated" and total silence when asking about the Limited option or a realistic delivery date, Honda dropped from our # 1 spot.
I would have considered a used X - 4 LV at a "fair" price, which currently isn't reality. So I moved on from the Talon X-4 Live Valve search.

Thank you for letting me share our families AZ based adventures over the past couple of years and a HUGE thanks to you members that take the time to post technical / mechanical / helpful tips that I used regularly (like the door storage.. absolutely ingenious).. I really like this forum.

I honestly do not know
I did meet a young man out on a ride last April that claimed the shop he used work for built it??
I'll reach out to the prior owner (we are friends / coworkers) and see if he had it done or if the original owner had it built..
