I hit a hidden stump in some grass and bent the driver's front lower A-Arm pretty good. I know I could just replace the A-Arm fairly easily, but looking for thoughts, opinions, sh*tposts for other options and things to look out for while replacing it.

What other damage should I be on the lookout for (see pic of compressed bushing)? Also, I assume I can just bend the aluminum guard back into fit.

What's the best place to get parts for the 1000-5 LE? Also, is the same part on the 1000-5 non-LE version? I don't mind painting if someone has some takeoffs sitting around.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Arms are the same on all the Pioneer 1000 models except for the red powdercoat on the LE models and the aluminum guards. I've still got my old stock arms laying in the shed somewhere, where are you located?

If you don’t want stock look at superatv arms, cheapest will be just replacing stock.

I recently installed highlifter a-arms front and rear. Perfectly happy with them. Steering is actually a little tighter/less wander. Many folks like the SuperATV arms because they are adjustable, so if you are running a lift you can get it aligned properly. I installed the highlifters and didn't even need to adjust toe in/out. They were a good fit. Just have keep them greased and check for play as the bushings wear. My two cents.

Ours are beefy as hell, and have a lifetime warranty. You can hit that tree or run it off a cliff as much as you want...if you bend it...we'll shoot you a new on. Good luck though! Lol! They can take a helluva beating.

Thanks, I looked at them at the link. I understand they give you additional ground clearance. Is the ground clearance the same as the overall lift to the machine? For example, if the ground clearance is 2 in. is the height of the machine raised 2 in.? Or is it somewhere in between?

I'm not interested in lift right now, but maybe if the ground clearance increase came with a modest lift, I might be interested.

Thanks for chiming in.

SuperATV arms will not make your machine taller, they just have an arch to provide more ground clearance outside the differential and inside the tires.

I'm on 30s with SuperATV arms and you can see I'm not super tall.

Also note the arched arms. I have both front and rear

Has a little camber without the crew in it

Stock vs SATV arms, best comparison I have. You can see they arch and provide extra clearance, no lift but they do move your wheels 1.5” forward.

From the pics, it looks like your frame tabs got tweaked where the arm attaches (?)

I didn't think so, but I'll put a square on it next time I'm out there.
