P1000 Best Bead lock wheels?

Are beadlocks essential? I plan to do most of my riding in WV. I don't want to have to deal with setting a bead on the trail if I can prevent it.

That being said, what are the best beadlock wheels I can get for my 1000-5?

I lost bead twice so I got a set. Are they needed? That's probably personal preference. I have HD9's and like them so far. They use 5/16 bolts instead of 1/4-20 like some. Were around 107 bucks a wheel if I remember correctly.

Im running the STI HDs no problems and theyre cheap.

Just ordered some Sedona beadlocks. $117 each. Hope the lips hold up better... we’ll see soon.

Got these on mine "MSA 31lok" i like the look as well as the bigger bolts on the bead. I've seen some of the smaller bolts snap when replacing tires.

Racelines they have the 5/16 bolts....only thing I had to drill the lug holes out and use flat faced lug nuts

HD9 ... cheaper

The 31 loc2 looks a lot cooler if you’re going for that. They also look to protect the bolt heads some with the ring. I did the Sedona storm beadlocks for $116 a wheel on amazon.
