Ok guys, my hunting for 2016 over, had a chance to go out this past weekend and try to find elk cow, instead found good amount of bulls all around the cabin within 1 mile radius and heard of 300 cows but on neighbors side, heard 8 shots on Saturday and 7 on Sunday, if hey were all deadly my neighbors got 15 cows from that herd of cows, they did not ran towards my way. So for me it was photo hunting this year. And ran into two bulls within 200 yards, they were not so good at jumping over barriers , see the video

and then herd of mule deer was amazed by my P500 , I met them next to our cabin, so I had to greed them by honking which made them more interested and they stayed with us for another 2 hours

Solrus, it amazes me that a whitetail will jump anything and elk will trip up on short fences.
Had a cow do the same thing this fall. Landed right on her face.

She was a wet road into Lake Manitoba. But we got in there and got out with about 150lbs. Of pepperettes and garlic rings. (Some assembly was required)

The boy took his first black bear this fall. Taxidermist turned it around in about 8 weeks. I think he needed xmas money. Lol.
