First can someone explain the offset terminology. I want to eventually run 28x10-14's in all 4 corners. I need to buy a spare rim so figure I might as buy one of what I want later now.

I think you're going to have to run spacers on the rear axle if you want the same track width front and rear. Even with stock wheels and 28's the front tires stick out further than the rears.

Last question ( maybe) - should I run 7" in front and 9" in rear or 7 or 9's in all 4 corners. Also will a 9" tire work on a 9" rim ( for a spare - I have the tire already)?

I would get the same size all the way around.

You’ll need 1” spacers for the rear IF you want the rear track width to match the front.

For the spare, I just use a front stock wheel/tire. It’s small and light vs a matching 30” tire (or 28” for you). It will still drive fine and get you out of the woods.

Is far as the width of the wheels, I prefer the more narrow wheels so that they do not get beat up as bad. The 7” wheels have been treating me good.

Ran both offsets. 5+2 and 3.5s. Like the 3.5s the best. Gives a wider footprint.

Yes. 1” in front and 2” in rear. I’m about 68-69 inches wide. Very stable.

I like the 3.5's too way better feel than the factory wheels. What was your reason for wanting to go with the Spacers in addition? I love you new wheels and seriously considering the front A arms to run some bigger than 28" tires.

You need to run a 1 “ spacer in the rear when you go after market wheels to even up things. I had the spacers already so just used them.

I have been running some 3.5 for a while and finally order some 1" spacers to try out on the back tires. They should be here tomorrow and I will install and test out.

I’m running 1” on fronts and 2” on Rears. I really like them. Just use locktite and cross torque to 82 pounds. Mine as never loosen up! I believe you will be pleased.
