You don’t have to have them but the pioneer 1000 rear axle is narrower than the front , not noticeable in stock trim because the rear wheels are wider. With our spacers you’ll be about 2” skinnier in the back. I ordered 1” spacers from rb3offroad for just the back to even the track width out. Looks better and I’m sure will handle better. If you put them on stock wheels no. If you have aftermarket wheels which are all the same size, adding 1” spacers to the rear only will even out the f/r track. Make sure that the spacers have 12 mm x 1.5 studs. RB3 Off Road makes a spacer that you don’t have to grind off the ends of the studs and lug nuts to get the wheels to mount flush to the spacers.
