My wife and I may be there. I would still classify us as novice level riders. From those more experienced, would we be better off to bring the P-500 or the P1000-5, or both?

I’ve had both on this trail system and either are fine. Hope you make it.....

I would say P1000, These are great people.

The whole trail system is novice. All of the trails will pass a P1K. Plus you'll have cargo room if we eat on the trail.

Heath Valley Campground messaged me this morning to make sure we are still a go....👍

He sent me a message also
I go back to doc in 10 day to see if he thinks if it is healed enough to go.
Shoulder doing good got about 75% back
Still have trouble with hand, there was some nerve damage when shoulder
got screwed up.
I still have hope I will be there🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️

We are considering coming up early Friday morning and joining the group either before blastoff or meet up on the trail depending on departure time. I know that park like the back of my hand but would prefer a way of contacting the group if we opt to chase the group down. As I will be lead on the Silverton trip, I may go ahead and get a shortwave radio if someone will have their ears on.

The distance on those radios isn’t that great, particularly in mountainous areas. We may just need to arrange a meeting point with you if you’ll be able to get a time frame down to say 30 minutes......🤷‍♂️

Just cleared with Moma, I'm in, just talked to Dad, he's at the Mulberry club ride, good turn out, think Dad said around 35 S x S's. Can you imagine, I miss this ride and every one Dad talks to is telling lies about me! HA!

What do you think about giving @wrwtexan a location to meet us when we’re doing lunch or a break somewhere. Is that doable? He says he knows the park like the back of his hand....🤷‍♂️
