P500 Bigtee’s P520 Build

Finally got the winch install completed. It took the M8-1.25 X 35 MM bolts. Finished wiring the remote and got the rope installed. I also cleaned up under the hood some. For now, all the pile of stuff in the garage is gone. I won’t say I’m finished, just have it the way I want it for now.

Got my fender flares made and installed this morning. ABS plastic, tires stick out 2 3/4“ from the bed, I made the flares 2 1/2”.

I had an area in the fender well where my relays were exposed to water and mud from the tires.

I cut a piece of ABS and put a bend in it to cover the area and hopefully keep them dry. I’ll have to keep an eye on them. I want to put MudBusters on the front if they ever have them available for the 520.

Got the front flares made and installed this morning. Not sure if I’m sold on them yet but I’ll leave them till MudBusters has something for the 520.

Wouldn't the p5 flares work that mudbusters makes?

No, I guess because of the design change on the inner wheel well they will not work. Says on their site WILL NOT FIT 520. I sent them an email asking when they would have them for the 520 but haven’t heard back from them yet.

My guess is that wheel well protection piece they added on the 520 is the only difference.

Ah. Totally missed that. Good thing you mentioned it as i was pretty close to ordering a set!

I ordered a package of the Tikits. They do not fit/work in either my 2020 P500 or my 2021 P1000-3. They do however work in my Super Duty. I order and received the bypass for the P1000-3 but no directions or paperwork. Anybody have a Link handy?

I got my MFG 2” receiver mounted today after waiting for over a month to get it delivered. MFG was very good working with me, FedEx was the problem. And because of great people on the forum posting how to instructions, it was on in about 20 minutes. Now to get my sprayer set up on it and get some spraying done.

I have my power ran to the back, just need to get the plug mounted. Here is the plug I’m using. I have an extension made up to run from this to my sprayer.

Circuit breaker for the SuperWinch. I just zip tied it there so I could move it when I installed power steering.

I also have my radio installed, Midland MXT27, thanks @elkaholic for your help on it. Also installed the magnetic mic. It works great, have been testing it out on the farm.
