Can anyone tell me the bolt size for these threaded holes. Rear p700-2 frame where the bed hinges. I’m thinking about mounting backup lights here. Thanks

Send a tap through, you will know the size and clean the paint off the threads.

I’ve wondered what those are for. Looks like a great place to mount a solid bumper. All the bumpers I have looked at bolt to the bed frame.

Depending on how versed you are with SAE fasteners -

If it looks like 1/4", it's 6mm, 5/16" = 8mm and 3/8" = 10mm. It's rare that I'll need to know the thread pitch, they're in common usage. Metric doesn't often use coarse vs fine thread, it's usually 'the' common pitch. If it doesn't start right with your fingers, don't put a wrench on it.

Tip: Honda parts fisches almost always list the diameter and length.

For example...looks like your back where the Rops would mount if you had a 700-4, so a look at RMATV shows it to be a 10mm width by 20mm long. Unfortunately, it doesn't give the pitch, but I bet there aren't that many choices there. BTW, the part number is 95701-10020-00. Perhaps one of the sites do list the pitch.

This isn't THE answer, but it will at least get you in the neighborhood.

Thanks, they’re M10-1.25. Two local Honda dealers couldn’t tell me so it took a couple trips to HomeDepot.
