Hey,

I am looking at Amazon.com: BOSS Audio Systems BRRF46A 46 Inch ATV UTV Audio System - IPX5 Rated Weatherproof, 8 Inch Woofer, 5.5 Inch Speakers, Amplified, Bluetooth, Built-in LED Lights, Easy Installation for 12 Volt Vehicles: Home Audio & Theater with the intention of mounting it in the roof.

But it says the maximum cage width is 56"

How could I make this fit the pioneer? The cage width is 59"

Order some 1-3/4” Loop clamps from McMaster Carr. Attach the loop clamps to the ROPS frame, run some unistrut between the clamps, and attach your soundbar to the unistrut. I made an overhead console for my 1000-3 using that method, cheap to make and sturdy.

That's a handy solution for a ton of problems thanks!

That's weird! I wonder how many people don't order because of that.

How do you find it? I am going to go with that or the swamp donkey

I just got one for Christmas and plan on installing today or tomorrow, so I’ll let you know how it goes on my 1000-5... hopeful it fits!

I plan on installing behind front row

Thanks for all the feedback.

I actually emailed them asking and they said it wouldn't fit despite the fact it does!

To the owners of this unit, this is one of the choices I have narrowed down to as well. Question, does the unit come with the control buttons on the front edge of it like it shows in the picture? My cousin has this in his Wolverine and it has a wired box that comes down and attaches to his A pillar to control the volume, next etc. I see this unit has buttons in the middle of the front, so does that mean it does not have the wired control box? Just to clarify, thanks.

Mine only has the buttons on the front of the unit. No extra box/controls to mount anywhere else

Hmm... because I just received mine and i wanted to make sure it worked properly before installing the unit so I used the provided wiring harness with the inline fuse went directly to the battery and it won’t power on the dome lights work but nothing else I don’t get it

Yes you have to power the aux cable... it is the blue amp remote input (switched) cable

It's loud enough to hear at 60 mph on pavement. Quality is better than some I've heard. Definitely worth the buck.
