Hi Guys,

A P5 owner here, I found a set of new take off P7 deluxe wheels & tires on CL but the picture doesn't show the name brand & model. What tires come on this rig from the factory? Here's the pictures

Those look like stock rims and tires off a 700 deluxe.
The tires are a Maxxis brand, but not sure the series name

mine are carlisle blackrock, 25 inch, non deluxe but i think they are the same tire just different wheel
pretty decent grip and ride if they were 27 probably would have kept it a while, just not enough clearance for the ruts i ride on alot

Unless it's changed (and it hadn't last new 700 I looked at) they were called Blackstone somethings. The same tire is also available under multiple names, including STI, Ocelot from Chap MOTO, and Wanda. I always thought they were decent tires... though maybe a little undersized.

you are right i thought they were blackrocks but i went and looked at them, and it just says, black stone on one side and hp0007 on the other dont see any company probably because they make a bunch of different ones

Thanks for the info guys, thinking about picking them up for my P5. He's asking $300 for the set, seems fair.

That's what I paid . I also have another set that came on my 700 I will hang on to them I like the wheels even though I don't have them on it at this time.STI makes the exact same tire but 6 ply and 26 inches tall. It's called slasher.

My 2017 P7-4 came stock with those Blackstones as well. Good on hard pack, but they don't like snow in my opinion.
They are quite short as well at 25". I have a handle on some 27" Bighorn 2.0s for cheap and will be swapping out. They perform better in the snow and sand.
All around the Blackstones are not bad, but I'm always looking to get better.

I agree the Blackstones are pretty good but the 2.0s will be real nice . I have 27s I think tbey look much better with larger tires.

Probably look better with the Hi Lifter 2.5 inch lift that I will be ordering too.

really not necessary, lift make it ride bad, they make wheels not strait and that put more stress on everything, bighorns are heavy and you will wear crap out fast and possibly break cvs, couple hundred at a time. you can run 27s no problem and some of the smaller 28s, imo you should never get a lift unless you are building a mudder and you arent going to care about replacing the axles with big ones
