P1000 Buying a Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe in AZ- is this a good deal?

New here and with 0 experience in buying a sxs. So far I've noticed dealers are just as scummy as car dealers. The only people willing to provide an otd price on the phone is Western Honda in Scottsdale AZ. They quoted me $20,320 on a 2024 with taxes included. An extra $700 if I want a Honda roof. Do you guys think there's any room for haggling? Should I keep looking or this as good as it gets?

I don't know the price of a new at this time but there is always haggling room. If the don't haggle the dont' sell.

I think all 1000-5 deluxe come with turf mode, 2 wheel, 4 wheel and loc 4 wheel drive, right? Or am I missing something? No accessories, just bare bones. $700 extra for a Honda roof.

In my biased opinion that's the better transmission .

I believe you’re correct on the modes.

Seems like our roof was an extra $800, so $700 sounds “ok”. Our sxs was purchased when there were supply shortages and a long waiting list to get a Pioneer. After the 6 month wait I didn’t feel like we had much leverage to haggle.

Not a terrible price for a P1K5D OTD, maybe about $2k of wiggle room. In 2018 we were getting that same 2018's P1K5D OTD in TN for $13,750. I pd $19k OTD on my 24 P1K5D exactly a year ago FWIW .

i4WD vs Diff lock is what he was getting at. Not sure what models start i4WD now though. Just not paying attention anymore.

The only Pioneer 1000 w I-4WD is the Trail and Forest editions.

Gotcha. Mine includes tax, which is around 1.8K So I guess it's pretty good then.

Western Honda is probably your best bet in AZ. Back in 18 when I got mine they were a little cheaper than Cochise Motorsports. It wasn't enough to make me want to put up with the traffic to drive to Scottsdale. Plus Sierra Vista was closer for me.

I've put a deposit down on a P1k5 Deluxe. Going to pick it up next week. 17,600 OTD in IL. No tax b/c coming from out of state.

I just picked up a deluxe from Western Honda two weeks ago. Same price with the roof. I thought it was fair with taxes/title/doc/bs fees. The guys over there were easy to deal with, no hassle whatsoever. 100% better experience than RideNow.

You paid 20,320 WITH the roof? They’re telling me that’s an extra $700 on top of the 20,320.

I see. Moto City gave me an offer of $20,570 including roof and street kit so it’s pretty tempting. Might go with them although I rather give Western Honda my business since they’re family owned.
