Lmfao 85 hp out of a 450 yea with 8k worth of motor work 15:1 compression or maybe a turbo or nitrous
N/A with about a 4k dollar build and super reliable. We raced our quads out in the desert sands dunes for years every season and never had a single motor problem with any of our bikes. The only Honda 450 based motors I have heard about blowing up were the big monster 450's built up to 600+ bore/stroke. The 520's and 550's and the like have been super reliable with insane power when built right.
What I was trying to say is some people might want more power and the Honda motors can take almost anything you want to throw at them. I myself would rather buy a Pioneer 1k and add 4-5k worth of motor work than buy a RZR 1k. Just my opinion but I prefer the quality Honda and Yamaha bring to the table and it's why I had my Rhino for 7 years. By the way, my '06 Rhino 660 was bored/stroked to a 780 with port work, 11/1 high comp piston, cam, HSR 45 carb, dual exhaust, Dynatek, Bronco dry clutch and a few other things I'm prolly forgetting. It was crazy fast and I beat on it for 6+ years and never had a single problem.
