I'll end up getting spacers for all 4 corners. My problem is that the lift is in my possession, many of my riding partners come back for R&R today and I finish mine in a week ( we work 2 week on/ 2 week off schedules), I want to show off the Pioneer, but won't be able have wheel spacers delivered before I leave. Waited 2 weeks for the lift, another 3 before I can install it would kill me!

I'm thinking about getting the CATVOS lift as well. Before I drop the $1500 or so, I thought I'd wait to see what others thought of it. Sounds like some of the early issues are being worked. Are you going with 30s or bigger? Hoping I don't need spacers, but sounds like I might with stock wheels. Take the Go Pro when you head out! Want to see this lift!

On the fence about tire size, think I got it narrowed down to outlaw 2. Stopped by in ER Polaris they want $295 ea for the 29.5x9.5. didn't bother to ask about the 28. Be a while before I buy anyways.

I was told the lift was designed around a machine that had aftermarket wheels. Scott had 3 new machines there when I talked to him, looking at making them work with the 14" wheels. I don't think it would take much to make them work, that's a beefy piece of round stock they used, think a grinder could solve that. I'm not an engineer, so I'll stick to their design.

No Go-Pro :(

What is your overall height with roof? Also what is your ground clearance with the lift? Thanks

I'll check this soon, right now I have stock tires on so I can measure that and then later measure with the 30" tires.

Awesome!!! Thanks. I just ordered the Catvos 3" and going to be running 30 x 10 x 16 MSA. Only have 82" to fit in my garage. Still not sure what im going to do about a speaker system.

I think you'll be fine. I have 84" and not that close. It may be ~4" clearance.

I'll still measure

Update: I had some problems with the wheels being able to turn so sharp that the banjo bolt on the brake caliper was hitting the lower A-arms. Here are some pics to show

This pic shows the slightly mushroomed banjo bolt. And scratches on the lower A-arm

A banjo bolt is something that you DON'T want to break. It will definitely cause loss of brake power.

I contacted Scott at CATVOS and he sent me some steering stops that will be included with all kits from now on.

Here is the steering shaft removed and the "stop" is laying on top of the shaft

Here is the plastic piece installed

This is super easy to install and anyone with the CATVOS kit should get these right away.

Actually, you would think that CATVOS would contact buyers of these kits and send these out before someone hurts or kills their self. AND, I'm not saying that they haven't done that, but they only offered these after I contacted them. Maybe I brought the issue to their attention?

It pays to do a thorough inspection of your vehicle every month or so! I've found missing brake line bolts, loose seatbelt bolts, loose tie rod that was about to fall off, etc.

Mine are doing the same thing, I just didn't worry about it and tried not to turn as sharply. Didn't think there was anyway to create a steering stop, but that looks pretty simple. How much did it affect your turning radius?

I'll be calling Scott tomorrow

Called Scott today, and on one answered. Left a message and no one has called back. Try again tomorrow. I can't stand when people don't answer the damn phone.

I rode a while today in north GA and I can tell the stops limit a little turning radius. But that's obvious and now it doesn't rub any more.
