I'm maybe 1/2" from not fitting in my garage as is sits with the factory 25s. Since I bought it the plan was a 2" lift with 27 or 28" tires. So time has come to start cutting. I've did some research on people cutting it looks pretty simple for someone that has fabrication skills. But I want to know for sure before I start so if anyone that's done it before could help a fellow pioneer fan out and give any tips or tricks I'd appreciate it

I too have been reading on a few that have done it. I also thought about it some.
I see the buys using sold bars to "insure structure strength" I thank that is over kill. The right tube would work just a well.
The hardest part is re-welding it and the braces at the head rest. I think I could do it all but the welds. My skills with welding are not so hot.
One tip I asked for was which part to do first. Was told to start with the front ROPS and let it the middle and rear fold down into place.
If you do it be sure to post and let us know.

This week should be the week to start cutting since I've had to plug both front tires from rock punctures I decided to get my tires and lift kit. Pictures and updates to come.......

Awesome man can't wait to see! I've been debating either chopping the top or building a whole new top cage that bolts into the factory location. I'm leaning towards a new cage, just need time and tubing!

I've got the superatv lift and 28" Maxxis Zillas installed. I was still able to put it in the garage but rubbed goin in so the cage chop will still happen but will happen in the coming weeks
